If Jesus . . .

If Jesus is God with us He has to be God.

Matthew 1:23: Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

If Jesus can take away sin He has to be God.

John 1:29: The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

If Jesus can save the lost He has to be God.

Luke 19:10: For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

If Jesus can take us to Himself He has to be God.

John 14:3: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

If Jesus is the way to heaven He has to be God.

John 14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If Jesus can dwell in our hearts He has to be God.

Ephesians 3:17a: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; . . .

If Jesus created us He has to be God.

John 1:3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

If Jesus has all power He has to be God.

Matthew 28:18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

If the fullness of God is in Jesus He has to be God.

Colossians 2:9: For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

If eternal life is in Jesus He has to be God.

1 John 5:11: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

If eternal life comes to us through Jesus He has to be God.

Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If Jesus can make us into new creatures He must be God.

2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

If Jesus is God His slightest wish should be our command.

Luke 6:46: And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Romans 12:1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
